General Hugh Mercer was an officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He fought in the early battles of the New York-New Jersey Campaign and was mortally wounded at the Battle of Princeton.

General Thomas Mifflin was an officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He fought in several key battles during the war, and also served as a member of the Continental Congress as a delegate from Pennsylvania. Although he was involved in a plot to remove George Washington as Commander-in-Chief, he participated in the Constitutional Convention and signed the document, and is a Founding Father.

Richard Montgomery was a Brigadier General in the Continental Army during the early days of the American Revolutionary War. He led part of the American forces during the failed Invasion of Canada and captured key positions before he was killed during the Battle of Quebec.

General Daniel Morgan was an officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He commanded backwoods riflemen during several engagements, including the Siege of Boston and Battle of Quebec. In 1782, he led American forces to victory at the Battle of Cowpens.

William Moultrie was an officer in the South Carolina Militia and Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He led men to victory in the Battle of Sullivan's Island and the Battle of Beaufort. After the war, he was twice elected Governor of South Carolina.

Samuel Prescott was a physician who lived in Concord, Massachusetts. In the early hours of April 19, 1775, he joined Paul Revere and William Dawes to warn people the British were marching to Concord. Prescott is the only one of the three who actually made it to Concord.

William Prescott was an officer in the Massachusetts Militia and Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He is most famous for his leadership of American forces at the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Israel Putnam was a military veteran who was affectionately known as “Old Put.” He served bravely at the Battle of Bunker Hill, but fell out of favor with George Washington after he failed against British forces in New York and Philadelphia.

Philip Schuyler was a wealthy New York patroon and one of the four original major generals of the Continental Army. He played a key role in the American victory in the Battle of Saratoga and in maintaining the neutrality of the tribes of the Six Nations.

Arthur St. Clair was a General in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He fought with Washington during the New York-New Jersey Campaign but was criticized for surrendering Fort Ticonderoga. He went on to serve in the Confederation Congress and served a term as President before becoming the first Governor of the Northwest Territory.

General John Stark commanded New Hampshire troops during the American Revolutionary War. He fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill and led the American forces to victory at the Battle of Bennington.

Tallmadge also played a key role in uncovering the Treason of Benedict Arnold.

Artemas Ward was a general in the Massachusetts militia at the outset of the American Revolution. He assumed command of the colonial forces during the early days of the Siege of Boston and directed operations until General George Washington arrived in July 1775.

Seth Warner was an officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War and led the Green Mountain Boys. He led his men during the Canada Campaign and fought in the Battle of Hubbardton and the Battle of Bennington, which led to the surrender of the British army at Saratoga.

Closely aligned with Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty, Warren was involved in the Committee of Correspondence and Massachusetts Provincial Congress. He was the author of prominent documents, including the Suffolk Resolves.

Anthony Wayne was an officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War and led men in many key battles of the war, including a victory at the Battle of Stony Point. After the war, he was given command of the Legion of the United States and won the Battle of Fallen Timbers. He negotiated the Treaty of Greenville, which helped open the frontier for expansion.

David Wooster was a Connecticut militia leader who served in King George’s War, the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. He died in 1777, during the American Revolution, soon after the Battle of Ridgefield.
