Artemas Ward was the first commander-in-chief of the American forces during the Revolutionary War. This video provides an overview of his house at the General Artemas Ward House Museum in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

Artemas Ward (1727–1800) was a general in the Massachusetts Militia at the outset of the American Revolution. He assumed command of the colonial forces during the early days of the Siege of Boston and directed operations until General George Washington arrived in July 1775.
